该机采用刚性四连杆结构，其工作幅度大，速度快。可以带载进行水平位移变幅和旋转。起升、旋转和变幅机构可作以单独或联合动作。
司机室视野良好。电气系统采用优质的船用电缆和控制器，中心滑环集电器容量大、性能好，能适应港口的繁忙作业。

Harbor portal crane for general use is designed for the handling of bulk materials and general cargoes from vessel alongside sea and river ports, storage yards and stations. The crane can be fitted with either hook or grab. It can also handle container when it is equipped with container sling.
This crane is rigid double-link type which ensures a horizontal path of the load throughout luffing and stable slewing at any angle with load. The hoisting, luffing and slewing mechanisms can be operated individually or jointly with the advantages of large radius and high speed.
The cab is of panoramic-view type. The high quality marine cables and controllers are provided in electrical system. The central slip-ring collector has the advantages of large capacity and good property and is suitable for port frequent operation.
Necessary electrical and mechanical safety protection devices are provided for mechanisms.
